Eats, Shoots, and Leaves

Oh dear, it's been awhile. But... I graduated! I officially have a BFA in my hot little hands (seriously, it finally came in the mail). To celebrate... here's some art? I'm afraid I've been cheating on this blog and using Tumblr quite a bit, so I'm not quite sure what I've posted here and what I haven't.

Also, I cleaned up the file system of my webspace, so if any images are broken in previous entries that you may come across, please let me know so I can fix them!

Not very many for today. I do have more ready to share, but I'll hold off so I can have a sort of buffer that should ensure that I stop forgetting to post.

Some drawings I did over 3D renders of the current game for my senior projects. I did NOT do the 3D at all. Just the drawings. 3D shots are included for comparison.

In other news... I have a Tumblr now! I'll post pretty much what I pose here, though I might stick photographs and things on Tumblr. We shall see.

During the next couple weeks I intend to have a plethora of Fragment concept paintings (if I'm lucky), but in the interim, here's some character art of the non-kitty hero variety.

And that, my friends, is the end of my backlog. I'll try and update daily, as I'd really like to at least finish a sketch of SOMETHING every day so I don't feel like a lump on a log. I have two roleplay groups I'm in that need some dire art attention!

Well, school's out for winter break, so I'm tackling my commissions. See how much I can get done before the torture starts again.

Long post is long. STILL have other things I could've included. It's been awesome to be drawing more instead of 3D stuff. And yeah, I've been hitting the digital art heavy lately. It's much faster to change issues in a piece in Photoshop than with a pencil and eraser. Sad but true.

Little worried for registering domains for portfolio class, as I KNOW my current domain is largely irrelevant to the general image I'm making. But dammit, I've had the webspace for 4+ years now! I feel awkward changing it now... (not to mention everything ever already links to http://www.ryuuart.com )
